Sarah Whitley, junior from
Sugar Land, Texas, currently serves as our president and has done an amazing job
organizing our tours and speakers this semester.
Whitley said she fell in love with San Marcos the first
time she visited and that is why she chose Texas State. She joined NBS to learn
more about her major, electronic media.
Whitley said she has met a lot of people, students and professionals, through NBS.
Whitley said she has met a lot of people, students and professionals, through NBS.
“I joined NBS when I was a freshman,” Whitley said. “I
wanted to get involved in an organization for students with the same interest.”
She said the tours she has been on with NBS allowed her “to see
the business up close and experience a more realistic take on everything.”
Being president, she feels she has gained leadership
experience and she encourages students to join NBS. She said the best way to
reach her is by email and she would be happy to answer any questions interested
students may have.
You can find her email on our Getting Involved page.
